After my sessions this morning I went home, did some work, collected Morgan from Nursery and then the wind filled in properly so when Anna got home I headed straight back to the beach, this time with just my 5m sail and wave board. I was on the water in no time only to find some of the most difficult conditions I've ever sailed in... Solid 6 foot surf, mountains of white water, gusty winds, a longshore rip from hell and head high chop going in all directions! It really was survivial conditions out there and I did a fair bit of swimming!

Went for one forward loop, I'm not sure what happened, but it sure as hell hurt. I came up feeling a little dizzy, fairly sick and with pretty much all over body pain! My head hurts a fair bit now still and my ear is pretty swollen... Decided that enough was enough after that, espeically as there was no one else on the beach, so had one more mad run out and back to get back upwind and then went home... It was crazy out there!
